The Role DecentraSec is seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to assist in the frontend development of ScholarMark, our flagship academic pre-submission platform. Currently in institutional beta, ScholarMark is engineered to eliminate the $34B publishing bottleneck by preventing desk rejections via our AI Integrity Layer and securing unpublished research through cryptographic seals.
Working directly under our CTO, you will ensure our frontend architecture is highly responsive, scalable, and ready for enterprise university deployment.
Please note: This is a 4-month unpaid internship designed for skill development, technical mentorship, and fulfilling academic training requirements.
What You Will Do
Frontend Architecture: Write, test, and maintain scalable user interface components using React and Next.js to power the ScholarMark institutional dashboard.
UI Implementation: Collaborate with the engineering lead to translate complex platform requirements into clean, high-performance web interfaces using modern frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
AI-Assisted Workflows: Utilize modern development environments and AI-assisted coding tools to optimize your deployment speed and functionality integration.
What We Are Looking For
Foundational knowledge of frontend development, specifically with React and Next.js.
Familiarity with modern CSS frameworks and responsive design principles.
A GitHub profile, personal portfolio, or live projects demonstrating your ability to build frontend functionality.
Based in the Islamabad/Rawalpindi region to allow for strategic team alignment.
